EASY ASIAN SPICED RAMEN

Asian-style street food carries an air of exotic about it that we love, and really offers the inspiration behind our Asian Stir-Fry Rub blend that captures the fragrances and flavours of the East beautifully. Now you can create a little Asian flair in the comfort of your own kitchen...easy enough without compromising on flavour complexity. 

-YOU WILL NEED-

1 Tbsp olive oil

2 tsp garlic

2 tsp fresh ginger

3 Tbsp soy sauce (we used a thick sweet soy sauce but this is totally up to preference)

2 Tbsp Cape Herb & Spice Asian Stir-Fry Rub Seasoning

4 cups chicken stock

1 cup mushrooms

2 cups ramen noodles (par cooked)

¼ cup spring onions, chopped

1 chilli, sliced

2 cooked chicken breasts

2 hard boiled eggs  (peeled and halved)

Spring onions for garnish

-HOW ITS DONE-

Heat the olive oil in a pot over medium heat, then add the garlic and ginger and cook for a few minutes. Stir in the soy sauce and add the Cape Herb & Spice Asian Stir-Fry Rub Seasoning, chicken stock and mushrooms. Allow the mixture to simmer for 5-10 minutes before adding the noodles, spring onions and chilli. Cook the ramen until the noodles are completely cooked then divide between 2 bowls and top each with a chicken breast, egg and extra spring onions.
