Want to make a salad that’s incredibly tasty, ridiculously healthy and a visual knock-out to boot? Then think monotone – think green.  It doesn’t matter what you put in this salad, if it’s fresh and it’s green, chances are it will go together. The options are endless. Cucumber, celery, baby spinach, asparagus, mange tout, lettuce, rocket, watercress, avocado, briefly blanched green beans or broccoli…

So many ingredients, so much culinary fun to be had.

-INGREDIENTS-

Fresh lemon juice

Extra virgin olive oil

Cape Herb & Spice Garlic & Herb Shaker Seasoning

Variety of green vegetables

-METHOD-

Select your favourite combination of inGREENdients and think out the box when it comes to slicing and plating. This is the time to let your inner food artist shine. All your fabulous super green salad needs is a simple vinaigrette made of one part fresh lemon juice to two parts of extra virgin olive oil whisked up with a generous sprinkle of Cape Herb & Spice’s Garlic & Herb Shaker Seasoning of course.

*Perfectly pair this with Roast Beef Fillet with Pangrattata Crust, Ultimate S&P Potatoes, and Smoked Snoek Paté with Mustard-Pickled Cucumber for the ultimate Easter feast!
