- WHAT YOU WILL NEED -

  • FOR THE SMOKY BBQ DIPPING SAUCE
  • ¾ cup tomato sauce
  • 2 Tbsp Muscovado sugar
  • FOR THE MEATBALLS
  • 1 tsp Cape Herb & Spice SMOKED PAPRIKA
  • 500g lean beef mince
  • 1 Tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 egg
  • 1 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 Tbsp runny honey
  • 2 slices white bread, crusts cut off
  • 2 heaped teaspoons Cape Herb & Spice TALL SWEET & SMOKY BBQ GRINDER
  • ½ tsp Cape Herb & Spice TALL SWEET & SMOKY BBQ GRINDER
  • oil, for frying
  • ½ tsp black pepper

- METHOD -

Tear the white bread into chunks and pop them into a food processor. Then pulse  this until the bread forms fine crumbs. Now, mix the breadcrumbs with all the other meatball ingredients.

Then roll this into small balls and fry them in a non-stick pan with just a smidge of cooking oil of your choice.

To make the smoky BBQ dipping sauce, simply combine all the ingredients in a small saucepan and cook without the lid over low heat for five minutes.
