Recipes SWEET & STICKY CHICKEN QUESADILLAS
SWEET & STICKY CHICKEN QUESADILLAS
Not all quesadillas are created equally... some are more delicious than others - like this cheesy chicken one. So simple, but it does the trick each and every time.
- WHAT YOU WILL NEED -
- 6 tortilla wraps
- 2 Tbsp olive oil
- 4 chicken breasts, cut into strips
- Cape Herb & Spice SWEET & STICKY CHICKEN
- 1/2 cup sweet chili sauce
- 1 Tomato, deseeded and cubed
- Sour cream
- METHOD -
Firstly season the chicken strips with Cape Herb & Spice Sweet & Sticky Chicken Seasoning, to taste. Make sure it’s well coated on all sides.
In a non-stick pan, heat some oil, brown the chicken on both sides and cook on medium heat for 10 minutes until well cooked.
Meanwhile, spread the sweet chili sauce onto the wrap. Sprinkle some cheddar. Top with chicken strips, tomatoes and then more cheddar.
Top with tortilla wrap. Repeat this with all the wraps.
Then brown the wrap sandwich in a non-stick pan for 2-3 minutes, turn over to brown on the other side. Repeat with all the sandwiches.
Lastly cut these into quarters and serve with sour cream and guacamole.
